Among the most despicable things that Trump did during his campaign was to attack a Gold Star family. You simply do not do that. (Hillary did say that all four of the families she met when the bodies from Behghazi were returned simply remembered her comments differently than she did. She didn’t directly use the word “liars”, so disputing their credibility would apparently not be considered an attack.). I have the disconcerting habit of relying not simply on the media reports but of going directly to the source. Trump’s “attack” on the Gold Star Family, at least the only one I could find, was commenting that Mrs. Khan did not say anything, perhaps wasn’t allowed to. That was an attack??? Certainly in the eyes of the media, but my considerable displeasure switched at that time from Trump to the media.
Mocking a disabled reporter was yet another despicable episode from Trump’s campaign. If you don’t like Trump, the information given below will not convince you to like him. Hurling insults, labeling, and regurgitating a leftist
media’s mantra is so much easier than trying to legitimately understand what happened or (horrors) giving someone you politically disagree with the benefit of the doubt. However, the information given in the source cited below attempts to shed some light on
and challenge the making of what they would call the mocking myth. A number of videos show that Trump previously used similar “mocking” motions to express frustration, either his own or someone else’s. Indeed, the reporter that he was alleged to be mocking
has a completely different kind of disability and has never shown any of these same kinds of motions.
The REAL story on the “Trump mocking disabled reporter” story.
Political correctness and biased press coverage will undoubtedly continue, but I do believe that our media needs to be held to a higher standard than much
of their current agenda-driven reporting.
