In these last days we see it surface again.
Under the direction of Barack Obama, the United States refused to stand with Israel against an assault from the United Nations. It isn’t the first, but hopefully the last, time Obama will have any opportunity to abandon our ally.
The office of Prime Minister Netanyahu issued this statement after the UN vote:
“While the Security Council does nothing to prevent the massacre of half a million people in Syria, it is shamefully singling out Israel — the only democracy in the Middle East. The Obama administration not only failed to defend Israel from this harassment at the UN, it cooperated with it behind the scenes.”
Sad, but true.
The United Nations has a long anti-Israel history. Two serious questions should be asked. “What motivates Obama’s deep disdain for Israel?” and ” Should the United States change its level of support for the United Nations?”
Fortunately, Israel knows that Obama’s actions are not a reflection of America’s genuine support.
