Get used to it.

For leftists its hard to believe it, much less accept it.

It isn’t just leftists who are still grappling with the reality of a Trump Presidency.  Many, from moderates to conservatives, are still trying to get their mind around it.

Today the world changes.  Time will tell us whether it is for the better or the worse.

Some people are struggling with the Donald of the past.  His blatant immorality bothers them.  We can only hope it is the Donald of the past, not the present or the future.  Others are unhappy with how he won the office.  His disparaging of his adversaries seems to be without a political equal.  Memories of the Clinton “scorched earth” policy don’t even look so bad in comparison.  Still others find fault with his tweets, cabinet nominees, advisors and policy suggestions.  There isn’t a shortage of things with which to find fault.

A majority of Americans, however, are finding encouragement and hope.  Trump is poised to shake up the system and that’s what they want.  The jury is still out on what our country will look like when he is done with the shaking.

For my part, I am hopeful and cautiously optimistic… and praying.  I dislike some of the things I see and hear.  Other things keep me thinking he may turn out to be more positive than negative, in terms of turning our country in the right direction.  I have never been a sold out Trump supporter, but I am willing to give him a chance.  Not that I have another choice.

God speed, Mr. President.
