Raising the minimum wage has a definite down side.

One business is changing the paradigm with a robotic burger flipper.

This is only the beginning.  There will be continual pressure to increase the minimum wage.  With that pressure, more businesses will look at replacing higher priced employees with lower cost automation.

Increasing the minimum wage prices businesses OUT of business, unless they find ways to economize.

Increasing the minimum wage also prices employees OUT of a job.
