To look forward, we may need to look back…

… Back to the Scripture written in Amos 5:24

“let justice roll down like waters
And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.”

In a 1963 speech, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. made reference to this scripture as he called for racial equality.  Today, this scripture is calling America, again,  to a higher standard.  Not just in matters of racial equality, but to righteousness in general.

Until righteousness prevails, there will be no justice.

Without righteousness, racism and hatred will have a breeding ground.

Only one path to success exists for our nation:  The path of righteousness.  When righteousness prevails…

… Then, will justice roll down like waters.
