Yes, and it was the foundation of education.
But, that was then… this is now.
Those who oppose the God of the universe have succeeded in removing the mention of Him in the classroom. When America was young, that was not the case. The very purpose of education was to enable children to read and understand the Scriptures. It was well accepted, as Daniel Webster once said, that “Whatever makes men good Christians makes them good citizens”.
This is an examination given to children, taken from the New England Primer:
Our society would turn in the right direction if we would return to the instructions of the New England Primer.

Gordy. I do not follow FB, and I don’t even remember how long ago it was, that I quit looking at it.
I understand what has happened to our Children, in the public school system. They are victims of this society, which have put them there. They are taught to believe what they are told, and our entire system has turned rogue. They no longer are taught what is right or wrong, but are told lies which make them victims in the system, which perpetrates it. My Grandchildren are in home schooling, and their beliefs are taught by Christian parents who know that the school system is evil.
I doubt you will be able to reply to my post, since I do not give out my name or mail address.
Thanks for your comments. Like your children, many parents have chosen to educate their kids at home so they could be taught principles that align with their Christian faith. They simply don’t get that in public schools. I have yet to meet a home schooled child who wasn’t noticeably well educated. Glad you saw this post!
