Another spectacular cow sold at auction today.
Awesome Trixie sold for $86,000.00 at the Hudson Valentine sale in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I haven’t decided if I am happy or sad that I wasn’t there. Happy, because I would have probably tried to buy her (paying for her would have been another matter…), so it’s much better I was not there. Sad, because I missed all the people, fun, excitement and spectacular Longhorn cattle.

Trixie measures 94 3/4″ Tip to Tip, making her the longest horned cow ever to sell at public auction. Awesome, indeed.
I guess staying home was my destiny, but I did sell a yearling Longhorn bull at the ranch today… for somewhat less than $86,000.00
