Paula’s life was a real mess.

 

She was just released from jail for drug use.  While she was there, Paula had a pregnancy test that confirmed she was pregnant.  She had used the morning after pill on several occasions in the past, and also had one abortion.  All of those things only served to further confuse her and compound her deep feelings of guilt and hopelessness.

She was referred to the Pregnancy Help Center by a friend.

After meeting with the nurse and client advocate, Paula began to see some hope for her life.  The opportunity to see her baby on ultrasound gave her a fresh perspective, and even a bit of excitement she couldn’t quite explain.

The staff at the Pregnancy Help Center provided Paula with information about counseling and the abortion recovery program.  At the Pregnancy Help Center she was loved, supported and knew she was welcome to return for further assistance.

Paula, like many women, came to the Pregnancy Help Center broken and devoid of hope. She left knowing that she could get her life together and parent this child, and that she had someone to turn to when she needed help.
