Any time I stand firm against abortion, I face the potential of angst and anger from pro-choicers. Last week, if you saw the posted article about PP closing in Casper, you know the name calling was present and voracious. While I don’t exactly love it, God grew for me a thick skin to take the heat because regardless of what name you call me, truth is truth. Abortion is wrong and God has called me to be an advocate, not just for the babes, but for the mommies, and hopefully,… through my testimony, some of those mommies will choose life, and some who have yet to find healing will be helped on to the path of that healing. All my years of sharing, whether it be to an audience, to one person, or on social media, I am always attacked spiritually when God is about to set someone free. Satan’s “joy” is abortion, it represents the depth of evil where he thrives. But, God is the victor, and just as with other years, so it is true this time. As I was battling in the name of life, someone reached out to me that they had an abortion and they are seeking healing. They thanked me for standing up and speaking out in truth about the harm of abortion. AND, there it is…that was the root of ALL of this past week’s craziness. Spiritual battles, good vs. evil, all for what? Because ONE more is longing to be set free. God called me years ago to share my story. When He called me to do it, He very clearly said I was not to be silent, and I was not to be anonymous. He has honored that call in my life. I PRAISE Him for what He has set in order. He forgave me of my sin, set me free, and I share, in recompense to the life that would have been, in remembrance of my boy, Peter Job…If YOU are one such woman, or a man who is carrying the burden of abortion, there IS healing!!! Abortion is another word for murder, masked with false ideologies of “mothers right to choose.” It is heartbreaking that abortion is legally permissible, socially condoned and culturally promoted. They say knowledge is power, so with the right knowledge comes right understanding and right choices. The power will be found in life!
