A one night stand was tormenting Terri.
She is 23 years old and lives with her boyfriend (who is occasionally abusive) and their 3 year old son. She came to the Pregnancy Help Center abortion minded as a result of finding herself pregnant about one month after getting high on Meth and having a one night stand.
She was unsure of the date she conceived, and feared her one night stand was the father of her baby. After seeing her baby on ultrasound she was still undecided as to her intentions for her pregnancy.
When The nurse from the Pregnancy Help Center made a follow up call a week later, she said had decided to carry to term because she just couldn’t bring herself to abort.
She still had the nagging fear that her baby’s father is her one night stand. During one of her several calls to the Pregnancy Help Center, she said she wanted a sign from God to ensure her that her one night stand was not the father of her baby. The nurse responded that the “cross” is the sign. Later that day, she and her boyfriend were at Hobby Lobby and saw a cross. Her boyfriend liked it, and kept going back to look at it. Terri wondered whether that could be her sign from God.
It was enough for her.
