President Trump continues to tweet.

In and of itself, that isn’t a bad thing.

But, the tone and content of his tweets create one media crisis after another.  I listened to a White House press briefing this week, an almost the entire session was devoted to an assault by the media over the President’s most recent tweet.  The questions from the press had absolutely nothing to do with any policy issue.  They centered around the President’s tweet regarding a news anchor’s face lift.

WOW.  Have we really sunk to this level?

Yes, I’m afraid we have.  The President is being effective in making changes and moving the country in a better direction on many fronts.  That is driving the Left and the (Leftist) Media crazy.  They are looking for anything with which to attack and discredit the President in their efforts to destroy and/or disable him.  If they can’t find anything, they fabricate and invent something.  Fortunately for them, the President has a character flaw that finds its way into his tweets.  Food for the pool of piranha.

My prayer is that the President would yield to the Holy Spirit, rather than his own vile human nature.  That would eliminate the media feeding frenzy regarding his tweets.  It wouldn’t end the attacks but it would give the President’s staff a fighting chance to talk about something of substance.

In the meantime, it looks and sounds like a replay of an old movie…
