This is no longer the Party of Ronald Reagan.
Fox News Commentator, Brit Hum let the cat out of the bag this week. He called Rand Paul a RINO (Republican in name only) for remaining true to conservative principles and the straight up repeal of Obamacare.
Think about that for a minute!!
What he was saying is what conservatives have known for years. The Republican Party TALKS about conservative principles. When the rubber hits the road, the Party has left its own platform in the dust.
The comments by Brit Hume reveal the re-definition of the Republican Party. The term, RINO used to refer to Republicans who did not follow the conservative principles of the Party. NOW, the term refers to conservatives who do. The suggestion that Rand Paul is a RINO speaks volumes to where the Republican Party has come. Remarkable!
The Republican Party may now be called to account in some measure. Their relentless promise to REPEAL Obamacare for nearly a decade is coming home to haunt them. They have reached a time when they either need to put up or shut up.
This may (finally) be the defining moment for the Republican Party. The Republican Party OWNS the House, Senate and White House.
What they do with that power matters.

Its not like South Dakotans are not part of the problem ….WE put in Mike Rounds (Zanyia Project) when we knew he helped Tom Daschle establish SD as the third most obamacare compliant state in the nation. WE gave Daugaard accolades when he pushed through SB 38 establishing an exchange when he promised he would not.
