The Conservative Christian wing of the Republican Party won an important victory today.
Judge Roy Moore defeated Senator Luther Strange, in spite of huge money and President Trump.
You might wonder why.
It’s pretty simple. Senator Strange represented the establishment wing of the Republican Party. Voters have had a belly full of the McConnell “promise them anything and deliver nothing” kind of politics. Judge Roy Moore clearly represents Conservative Christian values.
Voters looked beyond President Trump’s endorsement. They looked beyond the Millions of dollars in campaign spending by Strange. They looked beyond the NRA endorsement of Strange.
What voters saw (and liked) was Moore’s record of support for the things they hold dear: Respect for God and Country, his obvious support for the 2nd Amendment and his rejection of establishment politics. They saw in him a genuine and honorable man…
Fit to be their Senator.
