The silence is deafening.
The recent outrage by Leftists while they scramble to defend football players who openly disrespect our Nation has been well documented.
The media and the Leftist have not been quite as upset about another incident with some interesting similarities. Coach Joe Kennedy made a practice of kneeling on the football field after games to pray. That was offensive to some people. He was fired.
This adversarial Pagan mindset of disrespect toward God and Country was affirmed by a three judge panel when they ruled and said, “When Kennedy kneeled and prayed on the fifty-yard line immediately after games while in view of students and parents, he spoke as a public employee, not as a private citizen, and his speech therefore was constitutionally unprotected,”
It is fair to assume that if Kennedy had been a Muslim, the Pagan Leftists would have rallied to his support, and the court would have affirmed his right to pray. BUT… he is a Christian. He is committed to Jesus, and that is an outrage to the Pagan Left. Rights to free speech and expression that is supportive of faith in God do not apply.
When I grew up in public school, we began the day with a pledge to the Flag and prayer. We said grace over our lunch together.
How far we have fallen!!!
