Have you wondered what is going on??
The California “monster” wildfire has killed 17 people. 180 are still missing. Countless homes have been destroyed along with over 100,000 acres. It is still burning.
Hurricanes (plural), flooding, drought, tornadoes, fires, earthquakes, mass murders, riots, wars and tragedies of every size shape and kind are in the headlines every day.
Add to this the inability of the American Congress to function and the disrespect for our country from within and without.
Could these events be what Jesus was foretelling in Mathew 24?
“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
With the national debt now over $20 Trillion, additional financial stress from all the disaster will push us closer (or over) the edge.
I find my solace in God. Where do you go?

And, as a matter of fact, it will get so bad, as it says in Matthew 24:22 “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” I believe that the calamities will turn the hearts of some to turn to Christ as they seek comfort from the travails of the world
