When Abram, the great patriarch of the Jewish Race, was 75 years old God offered him a Covenant in Genesis 12:1-3, “Now the Lord said to Abram, “Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee, and I will make the a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee; and in thee shall all all the nations be blessed.” This is clearly a reference to Christ.
Abram took his wife called Sarai and his Nephew, Lot and traveled until God had them separate. God then gave the land as far as Abram could see in all directions to him and his seed. Sarai at 76 years of age felt she was to old to have a baby so she had Hagar her servant have Abrams child and Ishmael was born who became the father of all the muslims. When Abram was 99 and Sarai was 89, God renewed his covenant by saying, “You will have a son” and Abram laughed at the absurdity of a son born to a 90 year old mother and a 100 year old father. They named the son, Issac which means he laughed. He beecame the father of all the Jews and the Spiritual father of all Christians. God also had their names changed to Abraham and Sarah; and declared that all the men and boys be circumcised as a token of the everlasting covenant with God. The Nation of Israel has re-established itself in much of the same land given to Abraham. I believe that America has been blessed because most of our Presidents have Blessed Israel. Trump was faithful to God by Recognizing Jerusalem as the Capitol of Israel.
God and his Prophets restated the Covenant many times; and after Moses received the ten commandments, Obedience to that was included in the Covenant. Jesus Christ instituted a new covenant in his blood the night before he was betrayed. This Covenant was with all believers of all races for the forgiveness of sins.
Most of the founders of America believed in the Bibliical Covenants and they added some of their own like the Mayflower Compact or Covenant between God and the settlers of Plymouth Colony; and the Declaration of Independence which 56 men signed Pledging their Lives, Fortunes and Sacred Honor to the sure Belief that “ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL.” Plymouth Colony was very successful and The United States of America has become the Richest, Strongest, most Free, most Generous Nation of all History.
