It is almost more than they can bear.
President Trump’s first State of the Union Address was interrupted throughout by applause. Leftists in the audience, for the most part, sat quietly and somberly.
New common sense proposals, like allowing terminal patients the right to use experimental drugs, met with large rounds of applause. The litany of positive proposals seemed like it would never end.
Nearly 100% of the terrorist-held territories have been liberated in the last 12 months. After years of funding and expanding as American policies allowed ISIS to flourish, they are now defeated and on the run. To be certain, this war isn’t over. The President made it clear that he would deal harshly and quickly with terrorists, including new articles of engagement and the continued operation of The Guantanamo Bay detention camp. Additionally, the President is advancing policies and legislation that ends foreign aid to countries who fund, harbor and support terrorists.
North Korea was put on notice. America won’t tolerate their sabre rattling and despotic behavior.
America was called to honor, protect and respect her First Responders.
The designated bearer of bad news, Rep. Joe Kennedy, delivered a message of anxiety and fear. His poorly delivered message of negativity (spoken in part in Spanish) was the best that Leftists could muster.
The President’s hour and twenty minute address was witnessed by a large contingent of committed Leftists, who sat on their hands with grumpy faces. It was clear by their countenance that their mission is to stop this President at all costs. He represents everything they hate.
It was just too much good news.
