President Trump is deploying the National Guard to our Southern border.

That has Leftists screaming.  But really, what is the problem?  Homeland Security issued this statement, “To secure the border and make America safe, we need to deploy the National Guard.  Deploying the National Guard will serve as an immediate deterrent while dramatically enhancing operational control of the U.S. border.”

Media propagandists claim this will escalate tensions between Mexico and the US.  Leftist commentators insist this is only about President Trump’s ego.

I have to wonder what’s wrong with protecting our border… AND, why would use of the National Guard be problematic?

It all comes down to one core issue.  Leftists want open borders.  Perhaps some of them can explain their rational on that position.  The argument for controlled immigration wins my vote.  I would prefer to keep drug dealers, murderers, terrorists and thugs out of our country.  It’s difficult for me to understand why Leftists would find that objectionable.

Legal immigration, regulated immigration and controlled immigration shouldn’t be too much to expect.  Protecting the security of our nation by controlling our own borders is a good policy.

Trump has this right!
