A friend once asked me if I believed the Bible to be absolutely true.

I didn’t.

That was before I met Christ.  I have since learned that God is the same yesterday, today and forever.  His word is true.  He is not a man, that He should lie.  I have learned that the Word of God is not “subjective”.

It is unfortunate that many who claim to be follower of Jesus are quick to modify the Bible.  It is, after all, the written Word of God, upon which Jesus based His earthly ministry.

This morning I read about a “church” that has a brewery.  They contribute the profits from their brewery to support Planned Parenthood.  Homosexual Priests are widely accepted in many circles.  This twisted life view of many who profess to be Christians has its genesis in the rejection of the Bible.  Please don’t suggest that the Bible has been incorrectly translated.  That is an old excuse used by those whose mission is to justify their own behavior and rejection of Christ.

Jesus is either the Savior or He is a liar.  The Bible is either true from cover to cover, or it is fiction.  I have discovered, through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that the Word of God is true and absolute.  The entire Bible is truth.

To be a Christian, you must live life according to HIS will… not your own.  “I did it my way” might work for Frank Sinatra in song, but it won’t work for anyone as a follower of Christ.
