The National Debt continues to climb.

The debt will crash through the $$ 22 Trillion dollar ceiling early in the new year.  Of greater concern than the $$ 22 Trillion, might be the nation’s unfunded liabilities.

$$$  116 Trillion Dollars (and growing).  That’s about $950,000.00 per taxpayer.

Social Security is under water by over $$ 17 1/2 Trillion, and Medicare liability at $$ 28 Trillion.

Federal spending continues to outpace revenue by about a Trillion dollars per year.  If you haven’t looked lately, you can get a good perspective at the US National Debt Clock.

The US Congress appears unwilling or unable to do anything about it.
