As predicted here, the people of Lead, SD spoke and spoke loudly on Tuesday.
By a margin of 535 to 303, the people of Lead said NO to a city ordinance creating a special adult-oriented business license allowing nude dancing.
I applaud the professional work of attorney Stephen Wesolick of Rapid City, who came to the aid of these Lead citizens with his expertise in this field and the Lead Citizens For A Safe Community who worked hard to place this AOB Ordinance on their April 12th’s ballot for a vote of the PEOPLE and the PEOPLE said ‘no way’!
Way to go, Lead!!!
