Federal workers are struggling to make mortgage payments, buy food, and simply survive without pay. We are given daily accounts of how long the shutdown has been in effect and the news media are constantly presenting information regarding the hardships encountered. All of the suffering is, of course, being blamed on Trump.
But did you know that legislation to to pay Federal Workers during the current shutdown has been introduced by the Republicans and failed to pass the House? Why has this not been a major news item? After hearing Rep. Kevin McCarthy make this claim in an interview this morning, I did an internet search to verify. Accordingly, from the source cited:
“Last week and today, Democrats voted against a measure that would pay federal workers during the partial shutdown. Republicans brought the bill to the floor. Democrats want Americans to suffer so they blame President Trump.”
“Six Democrats broke with leadership and voted with Republicans last week, and ten this week.”
I have personally grown tired of both the political games that impact our citizens and of a media that selectively reports only information that fits their agenda.

Danny boy, the wall is a ploy and complete waste of funding. Tunnels being dug as I type. Cut through steel with a band saw. Sure some walls in certain areas but smart tech that Democrats have always funded. Besides Mexico will pay for the wall.Laugh Out Loud!!!
