Roger Stone was arrested at gun-point.
In the early morning hours, heavily armed FBI agents stormed the residence of Roger Stone.
His (alleged) crime? Among many charges, lying to Congress. OK. If he is guilty, he should be held accountable. But, REALLY??? Does this kind of crime (?) required a swat team and a small army of law enforcement?
Stone alleges that Special Council Mueller is trying to coerce him into fabricating testimony that would be detrimental to President Trump. Mueller continues to enjoy the “full confidence” of many in the political world. I don’t share their sentiments.
It would seem that a reasonable approach by the FBI and/or the DOJ would be to notify Stone to appear, and place him under arrest at that time ( if it is really necessary at all). Place him under surveillance until his appearance to prevent the possibility of flight, however unlikely that may be. The significant over-reach of the FBI and the DOJ appears to have an ulterior motive… to intimidate and coerce.
I personally know more than one person who has been subjected to this kind of heavy-handed tactic. In this political environment, the tyrannical hand of the FBI and the DOJ needs to be placed in check.

Let’s see if Barr can get the DOJ and FBI under control. I fear they are still run by those who do not have the president’s or anyone elses best interest at heart. It’s terrible to fear those that should be there to protect us. But the more you hear of such actions and in other’s cases (Clintons et al) non actions, you just have to be skeptical.
