They were in uniform and in unity at the State of the Union Speech.

Many of them looked very nice.

What left the most lasting impression with me wasn’t how they were dressed.  It was how they responded to some of the key elements of the President’s speech.  There were numerous times when they remained firmly in their seats as the rest of the chamber rose in support.  Not necessarily to support the President but the PRINCIPLE he was addressing.  Two of the moments that defined these “Women in White” were when they refused to affirm that America will never be a Socialist country, and to reject the New York and Virginia models of infanticide and late-term abortions.

Those defining moments set the stage for either the re-election of Donald Trump or the destruction of America in 2020.  On those two issues alone, America will rise or fall.

I didn’t think the speech was the most exciting I have ever heard, but I found myself cheering as the President recounted the impressive list of accomplishments during his first couple of years in office.  While it didn’t strike me as an “I have a dream” speech, it was an amazingly effective speech.

Trump haters are going to continue hating Trump.  His speech probably didn’t move any of those folks closer to intellectual honesty or a moral awakening.  What it DID do is present the case for reasonable and positive government policy to the entire country.  In doing so, he won the day.  The “Women in White” were effectively called out and exposed for who they are and what they represent.  In my heart, I have to believe that most of America rejects them and what they really stand for.

After all the critique, I have to say it was overall the most effective State of the Union speech I have heard in my lifetime.  

When Donald Trump announced that he was running for President, I never dreamed I would say this…

Thank God for Donald Trump in the “White HOUSE”!!
