Unfortunately, it has been secured by the drug cartels.

That isn’t the result we need to secure our nation.  We need the border secured so that illegal drugs and illegal immigrants can’t get into our country.  It means that the American border isn’t really secure at all.

About 90 murders each day take place in the “border security zone”, on the Mexican side of the border.  Rival gangs battle for control of the human trafficking and the billions of dollars in drug business.

In recent days, the “border security zone”, which would more accurately be called a war zone, has produced the murder of an entire family at the hands of these gangs.  It is obvious that no one is safe in this part of Mexico.

With all of this as a back drop, Democrats are still adamant in stonewalling any efforts to secure the border from the American side.  They are content to leave the nation’s southern border vulnerable, and the Mexican government is unable/unwilling to deal with the problem.

All of this makes the already serious border control issue even more urgent.

Build the wall!
