Someone wants you to believe a lie.
I grew up being told, “Don’t believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see”. It was probably good advise back then. It’s even more important today.
If you see a video that convinces you someone has committed a criminal act, you might discover later that it is only PART of the story. When you see the entire video and hear the whole story, your conclusion could be exactly opposite. Taking a small portion of a video, or a few words out of an entire sentence or paragraph can be a very effective way to misrepresent the facts.
It’s a tool regularly used by Leftists and their friends to advance their extreme agenda.
The most unfortunate part of this scenario is that so many people buy it… hook line and sinker! It keeps them from clearly seeing the truth and allows the truth to be destroyed.
If you are inclined to believe the “fact check” presented by the mainstream media, facebook and twitter, your perception of the truth is somewhere left of truth. If you dig a little deeper you will find that many “fact checks” are nothing more than an orchestrated attempt to make you believe a lie.
In recent days, a group of doctors held a press conference regarding hydroxychloroquine. Their personal experience in using the drug as a treatment and preventative for covid-19 was very positive. Now, the “fact-checkers” on facebook (and others) have removed the video and declared the information to be false. The demonization and character assassination of these doctors is in full swing (particularly the one who professes Christ as her Savior).
I have determined that I am not likely to change the mind of many Leftists. Ronald Reagan nailed it when he said they just “believe so many things that are not so”. Until and unless they develop some intellectual honesty and a genuine desire to know the truth, they will remain Leftists.
I am very grateful to have a personal relationship with Jesus, and have the Holy Spirit living inside of me. Jesus said the Holy Spirit would guide me into all truth. Further, that I would know the truth, and the truth would set me free. Indeed!
Maybe you should join me. Let the Holy Spirit be your “fact checker”.
