Should Conservatives and Leftists “Meet in the middle”?
I don’t think so.
If the conversation is spending $5.00 vs $10.00, then maybe there is room for compromise. Aside from that, compromise is nothing more than a Leftist tactic to move America farther into wickedness.
There are some issues on which there is NO ROOM for compromise:
Issues of morality allow for NO COMPROMISE. Agreeing to legislate “a little” sin is not taking the moral high ground. It is embracing sin. Leftists (who don’t know God to begin with) are quick to (mis)use Scripture to justify their positions. Any one familiar with Scripture knows that is a tactic introduced by Satan himself. Scripture makes it abundantly clear that Jesus rejected that tactic.
God does not “compromise”. Neither should those who claim to be His children.
This is not a time for compromise. It’s a time to embrace righteousness.
