South Dakota Takes a Hit

Pun intended.

Legalizing marijuana for recreational use is another serious blow to the battle against addiction.

The highway of addiction is littered with death and destruction. Literally.

If you wonder how this could possibly happen in South Dakota, the answer isn’t hard to find. Uninformed and misinformed voters are a big part of the equation. The other part is South Dakota’s vulnerability to ballot measures. The dirty little secret that Leftists know (and nearly everyone else has overlooked) is that with an injection of dollars, they can do with a ballot measure what they could never do in the Legislature. They can accomplish their objective, in effect, by “buying” it with slick and extensive/expensive ad campaigns.

So who really won this battle. The media, with the windfall of revenue and Leftists, who were able to further their mission to destroy the fabric of the American family and the foundation of our society.

All of this further necessitates action from the church. A viable, effective alternative to addiction, along with a pathway to recovery can come from a focused effort with leadership from the church.

It’s time for the Body of Christ to take action.

Peggy comments: The SD constitution only allows 1 issue in 1 ballot measure. This change to our constitution ballot measure had 3 different (issues) or ballot measures in 1 ballot. And, was very confusing to many people, who thought they were voting for medical pot. We will see some interesting things soon. Have heard it will be challenged in court.
