Joe Biden promises to “unify” our country.
Don’t hold your breath.
For the record, Joe hasn’t been elected. The Presidential race will not be settled until the Supreme Court either refuses to hear arguments of election fraud, or rules on the issue after hearing arguments.
But, to the issue of unity. There will not be unity. One side will lose. One side will win. The idea that Joe (or anyone) can ‘bring America together’ is a fantasy. There are issues on which there can be no compromise.
Abortion… Leftists will continue to promote killing unborn children. The pro-life community will continue to fight for the lives of these children. No compromise there.
Shutting down oil & gas production… Leftists will, Conservatives won’t. No compromise there.
Peace through strength… Leftists want to “talk” our enemies into peace. Conservatives know our enemies only understand strength. No compromise there.
Trillions of dollars in new taxes… Leftist want to take money from those who earn it and re-distribute it fit their social agenda. Conservatives want to leave more money in the pockets of taxpayers and create an environment of opportunity for anyone willing to work for it. No compromise there.
There is so much more, on which we fundamentally disagree. Leftists use the talking points of “unity”, “Bi-partisanship” and “compromise”. What they really mean is “agree with us and we can work together”. That won’t happen as long as Conservatives are guided by principle.
This is a war. A battle of right against wrong. Don’t kid yourself.
If we achieve “unity”, it will mean that Leftists have won and Conservatives have lost.
