Free health care, free college, free abortions, free money
All the “free” stuff being handed out by our government isn’t really free at all. Someone, someday is going to pay for it. We are careening ever-closer to $30 TRILLION dollars of national debt. Somebody will have to pay.
The cost is actually much deeper than dollars. The reality is that all the “free” stuff is a distraction. Any objective observer would have to conclude that in the face of the “free” stuff, we are LOSING our freedom.
Freedom to speak when we disagree with politically correct thought, freedom to open the doors of our own business, freedom to go to church, freedom of due process, freedom of fair and honest elections… and much more: Our freedom is slipping away before our eyes.
At the heart of it all is the moral depravity of those who are currently in the seats of power, followed by half of the citizens of our nation. The nation rises and falls on the Constitution… when we follow it we rise, when we disregard it we fall.
What John Adams said was true then, and true now:
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
