Leftists want banks to deliver reports of YOUR transactions to the IRS.
Accounts with $600.00 or more, or “gross inflows/outflows of $600.00 or more” would be surveilled by the IRS.
This is one more giant step toward government control and invasion of privacy.
Is it just coincidental that we have seen a recent “shortage of cash” at many retail stores? Purchases that require a credit or debit card make it easy to track every single purchase. This sets the stage for a cashless society and government control of our personal ability to buy and sell. NOT a good scenario.
This is another bad, bad Leftist policy proposal.
