Sarah Palin, an indomitable, clear, powerful force in the GOP will soon make her intentions known regarding her probable entry in the presidential race. Regardless of her decision, no one can deny that she is a true believer and the “real deal” in conservative politics.
On Labor Day speech in Iowa she delivered a clear and concise summary of the challenge before us in the 2012 election. Forget the dry erase board. This quote should be written on your wall, refrigerator door or wherever you will see and read it every day:
“…this is why we must remember that the challenge is not simply to replace Obama in 2012. The real challenge is who and what we will replace him with. It’s not enough to just change up the uniform. If we don’t change the team and the game plan, we won’t save our country.”
Her entire speech was a clear, refreshing appraisal of the business-as-usual Washington elite of both political parties. Governor Palin has embraced, captured and communicated the values that are driving the middle class American political awakening in a way that few other political figures have accomplished.
Three years after she burst on the national scene, the mainstream media still can’t seem to grasp that the key to Palin’s appeal, and the reason why the public continues to respond to her, is not her criticism of President Obama, but her criticism of the corruption of the entire insider system – of which establishment Republicans are a major part.
When Governor Palin says, “…because the reality is we are governed by a permanent political class, until we change that. They talk endlessly about cutting government spending, and yet they keep spending more. They talk about massive unsustainable debt, and yet they keep incurring more. They spend, they print, they borrow, they spend more, and then they stick us with the bill. Then they pat their own backs, and they claim that they faced and “solved” the debt crisis that they got us in…” she’s talking about the Republican establishment as much or more than she is talking about Democrats.
I don’t know if Governor Palin will run for President, but every time you start to wonder why she is still a political force to be reckoned with, look no further than the speech she delivered in Iowa over the Labor Day weekend.
Contrast her message with President Obama’s shameful performance in Detroit or any of the statements by the other candidates for president and you will quickly realize that no one captures the feelings of Americans outside the Beltway better than Sarah.

No, we understand perfectly Palin’s appeal. She plays to fear and anti-intellectualism. She looks cute in high-heels. She talks all folksy.
Unfortunately, she’s an opportunistic quitter who lacks any credibility or competence in discussions of real policy. The only government she is qualified to lead is the bathtub-drownable joke-government she and Grover Norquist crave. We need real leaders, not Barbie dolls you can dress up in your anarcho-theological fantasies.
Corey, Corey, Corey……..It’s always the same old story with you intellectual liberals. When you disagree with someone and you don’t have the facts or logic to refute their argument, you just resort to infantile name-calling and demonize them and their beliefs. It’s really childish behavior from such a learned person as yourself. I’ll keep this simple so you can understand…….Sarah Palin is the real deal, you are not.
