GOP Nomination Is Not a Two Man Race

Take your pick, NBC, CBS, CNN, ABC or even Fox News, they are all trumpeting that the GOP nomination is a two-man race………it’s not.

And I’m glad it’s not.

The media would have you believe that the nominee will be either Romney (from the get go their darling) or Gingrich. Even Sean Hannity is talking about electability.

Blinded by the fear of 4 more Obama years, they toss aside the obvious fact that neither Romney nor Gingrich nor Perry are true conservatives. None have had the spine to stand on the principles of less government, meaningful tax reform, entitlement reform and pro-life issues consistently in their political careers.

Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and John Huntsman appear in the debates and are included in some newscasts seemingly as an afterthought. And Ron Paul, well the media just portrays him as an old guy that wants to dismantle government who has no serious chance to win the nomination despite his fund-raising prowess and army of committed workers.

There are 4 RINOs, 1 Libertarian and 2 conservatives in the race and we haven’t even seen the fat lady yet.

Given these choices, my hope is that Ron Paul and his Campaign For Liberty can make significant showings in the Iowa Caucus and the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries. That scenario has the potential to set up an open Republican Convention where we might see a true conservative prevail, perhaps one that we haven’t even considered yet.

Sarah Palin told Fox Business News last night, “You know, it’s not too late for folks to jump in ……..who knows what will happen in the future?” She’s right.

Hold on tight, folks. This could get interesting.

Palin is clearly responding to (a) her narcissism and (b) Jon Huntsman’s steady gain in New Hampshire.

I suspected all along that you were afraid of Sarah.
